Summer is synonym to heat and sweat, making us uncomfortable. Heat can have other consequences like swelling our feet. During the day, we can feel or feet getting more and more tight in our shoes or sandals, our toes take the uncharitable form of little puddings and walking quickly becomes a torture. Here is a solution to relieve your feet that tend to swell with heat.
What You Need:
- One sachet of sodium chloride or nigari (20 g or 2 tbsp)
- A bowl
- A few sage leaves to reduce sweating (optional)
If you like essential oils, use 10 drops of cypress essential oil and 5 drops of lemon essential oil.
Steps :
1) Put warm water in your container.
2) Dilute the sodium chloride in the water.
3) Soak your feet for 15 minutes.
Suggestions:
- Refresh your feet with a shower jet by varying the temperature. Go from top to bottom.
- Put class 3 contention stockings soaked in menthol for 5 minutes.
- Raise your legs vertically against the wall or sleep with a pillow under your feet.
