Glass ceramic or induction cooktops are perfect for cooking; you can adjust the temperature exactly how you want it since they are so precise and heat up your food perfectly. However, when it comes time to clean these, it’s another story and you get a huge headache making sure you clean it correctly. They are so fragile that you need to be careful when cleaning them so you don’t scratch them. Here are 5 tips to clean your glass ceramic cooktop.

1. Stone clay

All you need to do is take a soft sponge and soak in stone clay to then scrub your cooktop. Then, rinse with fresh water and dry with a soft and humid cloth.

2. Black soap

Take a humid sponge and add a bit of liquid black soap on it. Lightly scrub your cooktop, rinse it and then dry it.

3. Blanc de Meudon

If your cooktop is extremely dirty, it can be hard to clean it properly but blanc de Meudon will probably eliminate all the grime. With a soft sponge, add some of the product on the cooktop and then rinse well afterwards. This product will help dislodge the tough grease stains.

4. Baking soda

Mix two glasses of baking soda and one glass of water in a bowl. Mix well, then add the paste on your cooktop with the help of a soft sponge. Leave the mix on it for 20 minutes, then wipe a wet and soft sponge to remove the baking soda paste.

5. White vinegar

Use a spray bottle filled with white vinegar to spray the surface you want to clean. Then, wipe a sponge across the surface. You can then add luster to your cooktop by wiping it with a soft cloth.
