The big day is fast approaching, not the one when the White Walkers take over the Known World, but the one when we will finally know if they do. If you are anything like us, you can’t wait to know how the cult series will be repeatedly making us jump out our sits for this season. Game of Thrones is widely known for being highly unpredictable, but we couldn’t help theorizing about the twist and turns for the upcoming final season.

14. Bran Is the Night King

Bran’s definitely the Three-Eyed Raven, but could he also be the Night King? The explanation would be that as Bran kept going back in time to stop the Night King, he eventually got stuck inside him.

13. Daenerys Is Pregnant With Jon’s Baby

Back in season one, Mirri Maz Duur, the Lhazareen godswife enslaved by the Khalasar, told Daenerys that she can’t have children. But judging by her actions, Mirri isn’t trustworthy. Daenerys being supposedly the last Targaryen and Ser Jorah telling Jon to keep the ancestral Mormont sword Longclaw for his children feels the perfect setup for a surprise pregnancy.

12. Cersei Is Pregnant With Euron’s Baby

During season 7, Cersei’s only onscreen sexual intercourse partner was Jaime, but there’s no reason to believe nothing else happened behind the scenes. The finale uncovered that Cersei had been collaborating offscreen with Euron on his “go home but really go get the Golden Company” plan, so it’s very plausible that they’ve been collaborating in the royal bedchamber as well.

11. Cersei Will Lose Her Baby

The full-length season 8 trailer reveals an emotional Cersei looking on while holding a glass of wine. This could mean several things, but if the rumours are true, we can’t help but remember Maggy the Frog in the woods of Casterly Rock’s predictions to Cersei: “The king will have 20 children and you will have three”.

10. Jaime Will Kill Cersei

Or the other way around… After she revealed her plans to sit around and let everyone else fight the Night King, Jaime left Cersei and their alleged unborn child and rode northward. If and when he and Cersei meet again, you can bet it won’t be a happy reunion.

9. Arya Will Kill Cersei

This is basically the same as the “Jaime killing Cersei” theory, only in this scenario, Arya kills Jaime to steal his face, then wears it so she can get close to Cersei and murder her. This would both fulfil Maggy the Frog’s prophecy and allow Arya to cross another name off her list.

8. Tyrion Is in Love With Daenerys

During season 7 finale’s sex scene, Tyrion was shown lurking near the room of the boat in which Daenerys and Jon were consummating their incestuous love. One can think that Tyrion was showing signs of jealousy. Let’s not forget that he once told Daenerys to leave Daario behind in Essos because he wouldn’t be the first or last man to love her. Still, Tyrion’s reaction could have been merely strategical worries, but who knows.

7. Nymeria will make another comeback

Doesn’t Wolf Army have the nicest sound to it?

6. Sansa Will Die

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Maisie Williams advised paying attention to parallels between the first and the last seasons. In the first season, Ned tells Robert Baratheon “Winterfell is yours” before getting his head chopped off. Consequently, in the season 8 trailer, Sansa greets Daenerys at Winterfell with the exact same words.

5. The Ice Dragon Will Die

The Night King and the Army of the Dead’s literal biggest asset might turn into dust or rather bones. In the season 8 official trailer, Jon and Daenerys approach her remaining two dragons, which are standing over a huge pile of bones. The size and number of these bones let us think that they might be the remains of Viserion, aka the ice dragon, aka death on wings.

4. It Was All Sam’s Storytelling

There is a theory floating around that Samwell Tarly has been telling the story of Game of Thrones this whole time. The whole series being historical texts written by Samwell is made even more plausible as George R. R. Martin has compared himself to Samwell on more than one occasion over the years.

3. The Night King Is Symeon Star-Eyes

It might not be more than meets the eye. Instead of regular pupils, the Night King has seven-point stars in his eyes which connects him to Symeon Star-Eyes, a knight from the books who had star-shaped sapphires for eyes.

2. Cersei Is Going to Marry Jon

GoT wouldn’t be at its first incredible plot twist. So it is not that crazy to think that-if Jon and Daenerys’ relationship doesn’t work out after and if they find out it’s actually incestuous-Jon could sacrifice himself to save all of Westeros by marrying Cersei.

1. Grey Worm Is Going to Die

Some say he will die to save Missandei. All we know is we wish he lives.
