Most people have favorite TV shows. There is nothing surprising about that! What could be more relaxing after a long day at work than sitting in front of your TV to enter the world of your characters? Obviously, not all series are renewed. 1. Hawaii Five-O (renewed)
It’s official! Hawaii Five-O will be back for the 10th season! Even better, Alex O’Loughlin has decided to keep his role as Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett. However, the date of the first one is still unknown.
2. Young Sheldon (renewed)
The successful spin-off series from The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, will return for a third AND fourth season. The second season attracted an average of more than 11 million viewers per week, making it the third highest rated program on CBS.
3. This is Us (renewed)
This is Us has quickly become one of the most popular series on NBC, and people keep talking about it. It is not surprising that the series has been renewed. The series now includes 6 seasons.
4. The Big Bang Theory (completed)
Don’t expect The Big Bang Theory to continue after 12 seasons. The final was broadcast on May 16.
5. Last Man Standing (renewed)
Fans of this series can rejoice! Last Man Standing will be back for the eighth season, which will run from 2019 to 2020. However, the current date of the first one is unknown.
6. The Conners (renewed)
The new show The Conners quickly became a popular comedy in 2018-2019 with 9.5 million loyal viewers each week. It is therefore not surprising that this series is being renewed for a second season!
7. Blue Bloods (renewed)
Blue Bloods was a success when they chose Tom Selleck to play the lead, but people stayed with the show because of the drama. This detective series already has nine seasons, and now it’s back for a tenth! Blue Bloods will also air its 200th episode when the show premieres this fall.
8. All NCIS (renewed)
All NCIS was renewed for a 17th season fairly quickly with an average of 16 million viewers per episode.
9. The Good Doctor (renewed)
The Good Doctor is currently the top-rated series on the ABC channel. It’s a show about a talented young surgeon with autism and scientist syndrome. It has been renewed for a third season on ABC, which is not surprising since the show attracts 11.2 million viewers each week. There is no release date yet, but it can be expected to return around September.
10. The Bachelor (renewed)
Are you one of those people who like to listen to The Bachelor? This program, which has been in existence since 2002, is unlikely to stop any time soon. The series has been renewed for a 24th season.
11. Arrow (completed)
The successful CW show Arrow has been renewed for an eighth season. In March 2019, it was announced that the eighth season would be the last one broadcast. Moreover, it will only be a half season of 10 episodes.
12. American Idol (renewed)
Critics of American Idol’s 17th season may have been mixed, but it will be back for the 18th season! This is the third season of ABC, and we see no signs of improvement.
13. Grey’s Anatomy (renewed)
Most of the actors have disappeared, but that’s no reason to stop Grey’s Anatomy. The series has just been renewed until season 17.
14. Lethal Weapon (canceled)
Lethal Weapon caused some controversy after one of the main actors was fired last year. Everyone thought the show was over until Seann William Scott replaced Crawford as Riggs. Lethal Weapon came back for season three, but Damon Wayans threatened to stop playing because the 16-hour work days didn’t go well with his diabetes. Finally, the series was canceled after three seasons.
15. Dancing with the Stars (renewed)
Dancing With the Stars took a break this spring to make way for American Idol, but the popular show will be back for its 28th season on ABC this fall!
