All pet owners know that their furry puppy, feathery and fluffy friends are like family members: there are our precious little ones in this world and we would do anything to protect them.
Some pet owner can face hard time, this woman was caught in a difficult situation, she had to make a difficult decision: should she leave her 3-month-old puppy in a bathroom at the airport?
The woman left a heartbreaking note for anyone who would find her puppy named Chewy. In her note, she explains in haste that she has not left it by choice. As a victim of an abusive boyfriend, she was at the airport to escape, but could not afford to pay for her dog’s place on the plane. At that moment, she had no choice but to leave him, no matter how much it broke her heart.
She also explains that her ex-boyfriend would have hurt the puppy at least once. She decided Chewy’s life would be safer in the hands of a stranger than within the reach of the violent man.
Chewy was found shortly afterwards and was taken to a shelter before finding a new home.

The owner left a note about her situation, claiming she left the poor puppy out there against her will. She has been the victim of domestic abuse and escaped from her ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately, she was unable to pay the costs that would allow Chewy to go on the plane and had to make a tough decision. She decided it was better to leave him in the bathroom, where someone would find him easily, far from the reach of her abusive ex-boyfriend.
Chewy was taken to the Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue (CMDR), where he was evaluated and put into adoption. The adorable puppy was found in good shape and quickly gained the hearts of all.
It took only a short time before people heard his story and started to field up registration to adopt him.
Several people think that the woman believed that she was doing what was best for her and her beloved companion, as she seems to be really torn in her note.
Many also hope that his circumstances will not prevent them from being reunited one day, soon, hopefully.
But for now, Chewy lives with new owners who really love him!
