It is known, all children love to draw, especially on the walls. Although we offer them paper, cardboard and canvases, they will inevitably color the walls of the house. They lean on them and leave colored pencil marks, which is very hard to remove. Fortunately, there are methods to effectively wash the walls.

Here are 7 effective ways to wash your walls.

1. Hair dryer

Run your dryer a few minutes to warm the wax of the crayons on the wall. You will be able to easily remove the marks with a simple cloth and a little soap.

Hot water and soap.

Removing Crayon markings from walls

Mix dish soap in a bucket filled with hot water to clear the pencil marks. You can, of course, use the dryer method first.

Goo Gone

This trick works surprisingly well. Place a few Goo Gone products on a paper towel folded in half and rub the soiled surface. The only disadvantage is the oily residue left by the product. To remove it, simply use soapy water.

3. WD-40

Spray a little of WD-40 on a folded paper towel and rub the pencil stains on the wall. This works very well. The disadvantage of using the WD-40 is its scent. What’s more, it leaves an oily residue even thicker on the wall. Use soapy water to remove.

4. Baking soda and water

To remove pencil stains on the walls, make a paste mixture with baking soda and water. A 50/50 mix is great. Take a cloth or sponge and rub the paste on the wall to erase pencil marks. The only disadvantage of using baking soda is that you will have a residue of paste on your walls. Remove it with soapy water.
