Accidents are unpredictable and heartbreaking. When they happen, we can only hope to be the spectators instead of the victims. Still sometimes, watching is hurting pretty bad. Before we had cameras, we depended on words of mouth to report accidents. These days, everyone has a smartphone, ready to capture the unbelievable moment.

7. Boat Tipping
In California in March 2014, a 21 ft whale surprised a boat with people on board watching off the coast of San Diego. Of course a camera just happened to be rolling at the right time. One of the whales emerged from the water and lunged on the boat. Luckily another boat was nearby and rescued passengers.
6. Flipping Out
On July 29th in DeLand, Florida, a local business surveillance camera caught shocking footage of a car going airborne and then rolling across the sidewalk. Luckily, no one else was injured. Locals rushed the car to put up the driver out, which helped him survive the crash.
5. Helmet Cam
In North Wales, motorcyclist Kevin Thomas Quirk was riding on the road when a van turned across his tab. The accident was inevitable and Quirk’s screams could be heard on his helmet cam. His helmet fell off his head and captured the rest.
4. Escalator Fall
You can call this an accident that came from a reckless decision of a 12-years-old. Alexis Dixon was playing around on the escalator at a local mall in St. Louis when she fell. Mark Malloy who was around when it happened, caught her at the right time. All of it when captured on the security camera.
3. Plane Crash
In February 2017, four American golfers and their pilot died after their chartered plane crashed onto the roof of the Essendon direct Factory Outlet. The plane exploded and caused extensive damage to the surrounding area. The Beechcraft B200 King airplane was descending to the airport when it clipped part of the outlet. The dash cam footage from a car driving on a nearby highway caught this shocking footage.
2. Hit and Run
In February 2017, a stolen car crashed on a snowy night into a public bus. Witnesses saw the driver hop into a new car to take off. The crash was caught on cameras inside the bus. Passengers can be seen getting jolted out of their seats.
1. Falling Under
3 years-old girl in China had a brush with death in February 2017 when she fell in the gab between the train and the platform. The train was active when her mother tried to get her out before it’s too late. The parent’s worst nightmare ended up fine when an employee at the station stopped the train to give more time for the rescue.
