Do you ever wish you could go back to the 1950s, 60s, 70s or 80s to see your favourite band or singer live? Take a trip down memory lane with these ‘then and now’ pictures of your favourite celebrities. You might be surprised at how little they have changed over the years or how many of them have lost their hair!
1. George Michael
Who can forget his smash hit Freedom! ’90? The English singer, songwriter and philanthropist first started out as a member of the band Wham! but he also had a great solo career with his many radio hits. If you don’t play Last Christmas all month of December, do you really celebrate Christmas?
2. David Bowie
A musical chameleon, David Bowie created some incredible looks, especially during his Ziggy Stardust period. Known as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, you probably play some of his hits like Under Pressure, Space Oddity, and Heroes at your parties. Are you team Ziggy or team David?
3. Annie Lennox
This Scottish singer became an international success for being a member of Eurythmics. Her pop, rock, soul, new wave, jazz sound has won her numerous awards. Queen of British music, she won Best British Female Artist 6 times at the Brit Awards. She looks better with blonde hair, don’t you think?
4. Cyndi Lauper
You are probably humming Girls Just Want to Have fun, True Colors or Time After Time right this minute. This American pop icon has won Grammys, Emmys, Tonys, VMAs and AMAs for all her dance-inducing hits but we wouldn’t of given her an award for that horrible hair!
5. Lionel Richie
Same moustache after all these years but no more afro! Lionel Richie is a soul, R&B and pop American legend with hits like You Are, My Love and Truly. We’d love a new album from this true icon.
6. Jon Bon Jovi
If you are born between 1950 and 1970, you probably had a huge crush on the lead singer of Bon Jovi. Who can forget this sex symbol of the 80s, 90s and 2000s? Enjoy reminiscing by listening to the band’s classic hits like Livin’ On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name and It’s My Life. We’re glad he got a haircut!
7. Freddie Mercury
Freddie Mercury’s appearance changed quite a lot even if, unfortunately, he didn’t live a very long life. The lead singer of the rock band Queen was flamboyant and had an incredible stage presence, which is why he is known as one of the greatest pop singers the world has ever seen.

10. Elvis Presley
The King of Rock and Roll was one of the most influential and celebrated singers of the 20th century. Unfortunately, his good looks and charms faded when he became overweight and addicted to pills. His hits will always be in our hearts.

Amy Winehouse grew up to become one of the most popular singers of the 2000s. Her deep, expressive contralto voice and jazzy tunes like Back to Black, Valerie and Rehab were extremely popular.
12. Mick Jagger
Those lips! Unfortunately, those lips seem to have faded like his boyish charms but Mick Jagger is still a hunky septuagenarian! If you were a fan of his British rockstar looks, you probably still find him quite attractive even after all these years.
13. Boy George
Still wearing makeup after all these years, Boy George is as flamboyant as ever. Who can forget the hit song Karma Chameleon?
14. Michael Jackson
The King of Pop changed a lot over the years. He went from a cute afroed child to a troubled adult dealing with many inner demons. He will always be remembered for his standout hits Beat It, Billie Jean and Thriller.
15. Bruce Springsteen
A little less hair, a few wrinkles and no more crazy sideburns. Bruce Springsteen still looks good (and dare we say taller?) even if he’s almost 70! This American rockstar was definitely Born in the U.S.A.!
16. Barbara Streisand
Beautiful Barbara, singer, actress, and filmmaker is known for her beautiful eyes, which still shine today. She has aged quite well and looks almost the same!
17. Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin died at 74 years old but she still shined like the sun until her final days. The singer of A Natural Woman, Respect and I Say a Little Prayer will always be in our hearts.
Everyone has heard the smash hit Believe at least 100 times in their life. Cher, known as the Goddess of Pop, got work done on her face but we still love her! At 72, she doesn’t look half bad.
Madonna’s style has changed drastically since she was first discovered. She also did get botox so she looks younger than her 60 years of age but we’ll give her this: she has killer arms and legs!
20. Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney was quite cute and dashing when he was a young lad! The man has, of course, aged quite a bit but what can you expect from a British rockstar?
21. Mariah Carey
American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey has always had her beautiful smile! She’s not 50 yet and still sings and dances for thousands of fans. The singer of All I Want for Christmas Is You, We Belong Together and Always Be My Baby has a few more years until we can call her ‘old’.
22. Phil Collins
Poor Phil Collins! He REALLY lost his hair but apart from the lack of hair, he looks the same! In the Air Tonight, Another Day in Paradise, Easy Lover, all these songs were probably on repeat in your house in the 80s!
Sting has changed quite a lot over the years, mainly because he now has barely any hair! The famous singer of The Police looks very good… maybe because of all that yoga?
24. Tina Turner
Tina Turner’s hair has improved over the years but she still looks very good for an octogenarian! You can’t have a party without playing What’s Love Got to Do with It!
25. Agnetha Fältskog
ABBA was a hugely popular Swedish band in the 70s and Agnetha Fältskog, one of the lead singers, still looks youthful after all these years. She probably still dances to her hits Dancing Queen and Chiquitita!
Beyonce just keeps getting more and more beautiful! She is ageing very well, even though she’s not even 40 years old yet! She will probably still be making music for a few decades.
27. Robbie Williams
Robbie Williams’ boyish looks, unfortunately, have faded over the years but if you are a big fan of his, you probably still think he’s still a cutie!
